Friendly Staff: The Sherpas of Nepal have traditionally been the
best mountain guides and porters. The treks are managed by
professionally trained Sherpa guide, cooks and camp helpers.
Most of them are from high Sherpa-land who have been in trekking
and mountaineering profession from generations. Many of our
famous Sherpa Mountain guides have done summit over 8,000 m
peaks and have experiences in high mountain passes. They are
well trained about the high altitude sickness, safety measures
and environmental aspects.
Hygienic food & water: Food on trek is plentiful, healthy,
wholesome and varied prepared by cooks trained in modern cooking
hygiene. Special care is taken to serve well-boiled and purified
drinking water everyday on trail to ensure that our trekkers
stay healthy and enjoy their outing fully. Our cooks are famous
for their ability to produce varied and tasty meals in adverse
conditions.
Small Group Size: In order to keep group sizes small we limit
our group departure treks to a maximum of 15 participants though
normally most groups operate with between four to eight clients.
Best Camping Equipment: All our treks are outfitted with the
highest quality equipment available. We use comfortable dome or
‘A’ frame sleeping tents. The treks are equipped with a dining
tent furnished with lanterns, tables, camp chairs and foam
mattress.
Environmental Concern: We give pre-trek briefing to all our
clients regarding the environmental and cultural issues. We use
kerosene on all our treks to avoid burning firewood. We recycle
non-biodegradable waste and use centralized toilet tents. Our
staffs are trained in the correct disposal of waste. All
biodegradable waste is burned and buried before breaking camp
every morning. Non-degradable wastes (tin, cans, bottles,
plastic, etc.) are carried back to Kathmandu for proper dispose.
Care is also taken to fill in toilet holes after use.
Insurance: Every single porter and staff employed by us is not
only well paid but also protected by a life insurance policy.
Emergency Rescue Operation: We lay-on helicopter rescue
facilities in an emergency
